Happy Saturday! I hope everyone has been enjoying the holidays and looking forward to a fabulous New Year! I know it’s been awhile since I’ve updated on here and first thing on the agenda is to announce the winner of my Charlotte Russe giveaway! Taylor S. you won! Check your email Thank you to everyone that participated and don’t worry, I have a new contest coming up very soon. So keep your eyes peeled! For today’s outfit, I decided to channel my inner lumberjill with a men’s vintage plaid shirt I bought a couple years ago at Clothes In The Past Lane.
I’m not usually a huge fan of plaid, but I really like the subdued rustic feel of this shirt. (Plus, it was roughly $10 and we all know I get weak in the knees for a good deal. ) Because the shirt is a tad large, I wanted to give it a more feminine feel so it didn’t look like the shirt was wearing me. I added a belt to cinch at the waist to give the shirt more shape and rolled up the sleeves. I also added a little bling from Chloe + Isabel to balance out the masculine and feminine aspects of the look.
I wore this to the Derby St Shoppes today where I scored some major post-Christmas deals. I strongly advise you all to go shopping, right now. Your holiday money has to go somewhere, right? You’ll thank me later What do you think of my look? How do you wear plaid?
