Hey party people! I told you there was another festival look coming your way! (If you don’t know what I’m talking about, here’s my first post.) For those of you in the New England area and those who are festival fiends, you’re probably well aware that Boston Calling is on the agenda this weekend. Kicking off tomorrow, the three day festival will be jamming out in downtown Boston with headliners such as Avett Brothers, Of Monsters and Men, Hozier, Alt J, Walk the Moon, and Alabama Shakes, among others. I’m personally so excited to see Misterwives. I saw them earlier this year at Sweet Life in May and they are such fun performers! As I mentioned in my previous post, this will be my first time attending Boston Calling, thanks to Ku De Ta and The Street at Chestnut Hill. I can’t wait to jam out, drink some Sam Adams, and document the whole weekend on Snapchat (@styletab).
My first festival look was mucho glam, but for my second look I definitely wanted to tone it down for a more laidback, boho feel. This Free People dress from Ku De Ta is the most comfy. It’s such a flattering silhouette and so easy to accessorize. Whenever I attend multi-day festivals, I always try to balance my looks between bold and comfortable. For every over-the-top look I go with, there’s always a comfy chic look to follow it up the next day. Festivals are marathons after all, and your outfits need to pace themselves, too. (Mad props to the festival goers who go all out with their outfits 24/7, though.) Fall music festivals can be particularly tricky due to the weather, so I recommend passing on the typical crop top and shorts uniform for a breezy long sleeve dress, layers, or a maxi.
