Happy Tuesday! Fall in New England has been pretty pleasant this seaon and I’ve been soaking it all in, before we get forced into hibernation mode. Besides the frequent trips to my favorite outdoor spots around Boston, I’ve been doing some exploring outside the city, too. This weekend I’m heading to Portland, Maine for a quick getaway, visited New Hampshire for a fall foliage trip the boyfriend’s birthday and made a pumpkin patch visit to Hanson’s Farm in Framingham for the first-ever Dunkin Donuts Instameet.
The Dunkin Donuts Instameet consisted of a handful of Boston bloggers who got together a few weeks to go to celebrate all things fall and the release of Dunkin’s new iced pumpkin machiatto. We consumed a lot of coffee and donuts on our way to the farm (obvs) and then commenced on a photo scavenger hunt around the farm. We also to to meet a few members of the Dunkin Donuts culinary team (#bestjobever?) and they explained the process of how new menu items come to fruition. It was really interesting to learn to hear because there’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes before a new coffee flavor makes it into the consumers cup! Speaking of new menu items, their new sweet black pepper bacon sandwich is so good. I think I’ve had it for breakfast approximately three times in the past week. #sorrynotsorry
After taking a hay ride around the farm, we ended the day getting lost in the corn maze. Kayte, Bryan and I had a ton of fun shooting in the corn field (see silly/stupid photo at the end of this post). It was pretty chilly the moring of the trip so I opted for my favorite Goodwill sweater with boyfriend jeans. Oversized sweaters are my jam for fall and winter. They’re pretty easy to find if you’re thrifting or shopping at your favorite retailer. My favorite ways to wear an oversized sweater are over jeans or with tights and knee-high boots.
What’s your go-to sweater style?
