A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to co-host one of the Teen Vogue Back-To-School Saturdays events with Simon Malls. I took a quick road trip up to the Merrimack Premium Outlets in New Hampshire for a fun-filled day of makeovers, photobooth moments, a flash tat bar, and more! One of my favorite trends, that’s continued to pick up speed, as we head into fall is fringe. (Here’ another way I like to wear fringe.) I figured what better time to whip out my new blush fringe skirt than for a fall fashion event? I picked this little number up from H&M a few weeks ago and paired it with a mock neck top, another fall trend that I’ve taken a liking to.
This outfit is a great transitional look for fall. Our event was outside, on a very warm day, but my ensemble was still weather appropriate. The top and skirt will definitely be staples in my wardrobe this season since they’re relatively neutral colors and can easily be layered over or under other items. I topped off my look with a wide brim fedora to give it an extra touch of autumn.
After the event wrapped up, I decided to do a little fall shopping of my own. If you’re ever in the Merrimack area, I highly recommend checking out the Premium Outlets, specifically the Saks OFF 5th and Bloomingdale’s stores. I picked up a burgundy faux leather skirt for under $50!
What’s your favorite trend for fall? Let me know in the comments!
