With wedding season in full swing, it’s likely that you or someone you know is on the hunt for a dress for the celebration. But if you’re like me, you probably don’t want to shell out a ton of cash for a dress you may only wear a handful of times. You want a dress that will not only get you through the wedding, but also seamlessly fit in with your everyday wardrobe.
Not an easy feat when you’re utterly clueless about what you want to wear to a wedding. Seriously, why is always so difficult to find a dress sometimes? #firstworldproblems I’ve got three weddings to attend this summer and I’m only planning to buy one dress in an effort to be frugal (I wish I was joking). I’ve decided that instead of going for something bright and trendy, I’m going to step outside my comfort zone and try to find a neutral design. No, not a nude dress. I mean something that’s versatile and in a seasonless color. What is my seasonless color of choice you ask? Blush pink. The reasoning? Blush pink dresses can be feminine or tough or bohemian or… you get the picture. They’re the perfect canvas to create the variety of outfits you need. Plus, blush pink pairs quite well with almost any shade.
Of course, if you’re planning to wear blush pink to a wedding, it’s best to find out what color the bridesmaids’ dresses are first, so you’re not twinning with the bridal party. In the clear? Fantastico. Grab some inspo for how I’d style both short and long blush pink dresses for multiple looks. Let me know what you think in the comments!
