This past weekend’s adventures brought me and my amigos to the Starboard in Dewey Beach for their 15th Annual Running of the Bulls event. Long story short it’s an all day fiesta with live music, lotsa dranks, and a nice little “run” down the beach chasing after 2 guys in a bull costume. Since I’ve been interning part-time in Philly this summer, I’ve made some awesome retail discoveries on my lunch breaks. One, in particular, is Buffalo Exchange. This place is unreal. Never have I had so much success at a consignment/thrift store. It’s never a hit-or-miss. In fact, I’ve missed out on some items because I waited too long to purchase them! I couldn’t believe the facts that I found and how blind consumers are to the terrible consequences of buying fake purses, perfumes, etc. But luckily, the industry is continuing to gain support and publicity about this topic thanks to eBay. Seeing as I haven’t been successful in getting Katy Perry out of my head for the past week, I might as well dedicate my first post to her and her hilarious video for “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F)” Absolutely love the 80’s teen movie theme! Don’t take too many shots 😉
