Necklace: Chloe + Isabel
Happy Wednesday! It’s no secret that I’m a major fan of pajama pants. This trend blew up on the fashion scene almost a year ago and it’s still going strong. From tailored track pants to printed silk harem pairs, it’s safe to say you haven’t seen the last of these bottoms just yet.
On the hanger harem pants can look scary ugly so you should definitely try on a few pairs to find the cut and silhouette that works best for you. I have a pretty boyish figure (my hips are pretty nonexistent) so I prefer pants that are high-waisted to create the look of curves. Even though these pj pants may be “tailored” they’re often made in silk-like fabrics that have more of a slouchy drape than the typical tailored pant. What does that mean for you? Pair your bottoms with more form-fitting and/or structured pieces. Doing so will balance out your ensemble and it won’t look like you literally just rolled out of bed. Unless that’s the look you’re going for
Have you experimented with harem or pajama pants? How do you like to wear them?
