Happy fall y’all! Not gonna lie, I wasn’t mad about throwing on some layers this week due to the chill in the air. As this cray cray summer of mine finally starts to winds down, I finally feel like I’m able to breathe again, at least for a little bit. After last week’s final beach trip, I’m excited that I’ll be kicking off the new season in the city with two upcoming events: Boston Calling and College Fashion Week. I’ll get to CFW later because Boston Calling is THIS weekend! I’m so excited to be hitting up another music festival before the end of the year. This will be my first time attending Boston Calling and I’m so stoked to be going thanks to local Boston boutique, Ku Da Ta at their Chestnut Hill location, The Street. I’m so curious to see how the festival experience will be since Boston Calling is held in the downtown Boston area, rather than a large field or desert. I have a hunch it’s gonna be pretty dope!
Although the festival is a three day event, I’ll only be attending Saturday and Sunday. In true fashion blogger form, I put together two different looks inspired by fall my fave trends for your #festivalfashion pleasure. First up: ’70s glam. I may as well be an extra from American Hustle in this outfit. I honestly think I was born in the wrong decade because I’m just way too obsessed with shag coats, flare jeans and faux fur. This Free People mock neck dress was so easy to dress up, and can easily be dressed down to wear casually, too. I obviously went the dressed up route because sometimes when you go to concerts to listen to rock stars you wanna look and feel like one too, am I right? And don’t even get me started on the Wildfox sunglasses. If it was socially acceptable to wear sunglasses 24/7, these would most definitely be my pair.
What do you think of my glam festival look? Stay tuned for outfit numero dos later today! In the meantime, keep scrolling to enter to win a $100 gift card to Ku De Ta at the bottom of this post!
