Happy Friday! Who’s got fun weekend plans? I’ll be in NYC for work, so if you follow me on Instagram be prepared for some touristy photos. I finally brought my favorite pair of boyfriend jeans out of hibernation last weekend and reuniting never felt so good. It’s no secret that boyfriend jeans are a must for a casual chic look. Whether you pair them with a simple t-shirt or strappy stilettos, one thing is certain, you’ll be 100% comfy and look good, too. For this look I decided to mix and match styles. I wanted a dressed up feel for a causal dinner so I paired my jeans with a pleated blouse and sparkly jewelry, but added the knit sweater and flats to add a laid back feel.
Flats have been my shoe of choice ever since I moved into Boston. I don’t own a car so I need comfortable shoes I can rely on to get me through all the miles of walking I do each week. These Ecco ballet flats have done just that. The leather uppers and cushioned insoles are this public transit commuter’s dream, plus the red color adds the perfect pop!
