Happy Wednesday! Festival fashion is in full force now that Coachella has kicked off the season of musical festival goodness. I have 2 festivals on my schedule this year: Sweet Life and Firefly. I am beyond excited to see the amazing performers on these line ups. But more importantly, I’m pumped to bring out my inner hippie that shows her face only once every festival season. Last year, it was all about the crop tops and flower crowns. I’m still loving those looks, but this year I’m craving something a little bit more feminine with a dash of gypsy/boho. Think long hemlines, gauzy fabrics, turbans, and metallic accents.
Today’s look is totally dedicated to just that. This dress is super breezy and perfect for a hot day walking around from stage to stage. I’m also having a moment with head scarf turbans right now. I watched several videos on how to tie one and it’s really fun to try out the different ways on a variety of scarves! I’ve found that skinny, silk-like scarves work the best. These will be perfect for keeping my hair out of my face and give my hair a little protection from the sun. Are you headed to any music festivals this year? What’s your go-to festival style?
