I think it goes without saying that layers are pretty crucial right now. I’m not talking about throwing a fuzzy cardigan over a pretty blouse. I’m talking about thermal shirts under flannel with a fur vest, two scarves, a face mask and a floor length coat to top it off. I’m only sporting the second and third pieces in today’s post but you catch my drift. It. Is. Frigid. Flannel with faux fur has definitely been my go-to layering combo this winter. It’s warm, it’s snuggly and looks great with a sparkly statement necklace. Mixing texture with patterns is a great (and easy) way to create new looks out of the clothes you probably already own. My general rule of thumb is to stick to contrasting colors so that your fur or flannel really pops, but a going the monochromatic route looks pretty glam, too! Have you tested out the flannel and fur trend this season? P.S. Stay warm out there kids!
