Happy Monday! If you enjoy frying your hair with curling wands, hair dryers and flat irons as much as I do, chances are you’ve had your fair share of frazzled, lifeless hair. I’m not one to shy away from trying new hair and beauty products, so when the opportunity to review the HASK Keratin and Argan Oil lines, it was a no-brainer. Each line includes shampoo, conditioner, smoothing shine oil and a deep conditioning treatment. When trying a new hair or beauty product for the first time I always check to see how it smells. You could ask me to try the most expensive shampoo on the market, but if it doesn’t smell good, I’m not using it. So, naturally, when my HASK products arrived I immediately went in for a big whiff.
Both the Argan Oil and Keratin products smell amazing. The Argan Oil has a bit more of a citrus scent compared to the Keratin, but both made my hair smell delicious. So far I’ve used both shampoos, conditioners and the Keratin smoothing oil. The shampoos and conditioners have a great lather and my hair felt softer after the second use. I used the Keratin smoothing oil after my first wash and it was surprisingly light for being an oil. I made sure to only use about a quarter size amount of it on my hair from the ears down to avoid my roots. The oil was a great primer before blow drying and styling my hair as usual. My hair’s pretty dry at the moment (haven’t had a haircut since October, whoops!) so repairing the damage won’t happen overnight. However, I think after extended use I’ll definitely see some improvement in my hair from HASK. I’ll keep you posted on how that goes and about the deep conditioning treatments, too!
