With winter in full swing, it can be a challenge to put together an outfit that doesn’t consist of a long down jacket and tall boots. (Un)lucky for me, I don’t own either of those things at the moment, so getting creative and layering up is my only option. To be honest, this definitely isn’t the most practical of outfits for a typical winter day in Boston, but we’ve had a few “warmer” days (aka 40 degrees) lately and I just couldn’t resist breaking out my high-waisted denim shorts to go with my over-the-knee socks.
I picked up these over-the-knee socks at Urban Outfitters around Christmas and they’ve been the perfect accessory for my little leggies. I get pretty bored of wearing jeans and pants around this time of the year, so these socks have been great for wearing over my tights (and pants, when I wear them). I probably should’ve worn tights with this look, but I suppose a little skin never hurt nobody
