Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I hope you didn’t lose too much sleep over watching the VMAs last night like I did! I’m officially terrified of Miley Cyrus. But luckily JT (and N*SYNC!!!!) restored my hope in humanity. Today I wanted to share a few photos from a day trip my family and I took to Savannah, GA while we were on vacation.
We hit up the historical district in downtown Savannah making visits to the beautiful Forsyth (sp?) Park, local boutiques and restaurants by the river. I couldn’t stop taking pictures of the Spanish moss, it just looked so cool! My mom and I checked out the local boutiques Terra Cotta (where my head scarf is from), The Paris Market, Villa and Cherry Picked. They were each so unique in there own way, some with more emphasis on home decor than clothing and vice versa. I highly recommend them if you’re ever in town! Besides the shopping my favorite part about Savannah was that you can drink on the street. (Hi, my name is Katherine and I’m an alcoholic) But in all seriousness, how happy would you be if you were able to tote around a peach sangria like a bottle of water while you’re shopping and site seeing? That’s what I thought
Cheers to a fabulous last week of August!
P.S. I took these photos with a point and shoot/iPhone so my apologies that they’re not up to the normal quality!
