Happy Wednesday! There’s a chance for snow in Boston, but I’m embracing bare arms today.. on the blog that is. A few weekends ago, Boston reached a high of 50 degrees and honestly, I never thought 50 degrees could make me feel so happy. Obviously, I was a little overzealous with my brunch outfit (suns out guns out!) as I was still a wee bit chilly in this look. But I wasn’t complaining. It was pleasant, I was hat-less for the first time in I don’t know how long and spent the morning munching on some delish brunch goodies at Tatte Bakery in Kendall Square with Jess, Allie and Diana.
I’ve been challenging myself to re-work my spring clothes into my wardrobe lately, while trying not to freeze my buns off. Lately instead of buying new things I can’t wear yet, I’ve been doing a lot of creative layering. Layering is particularly great this time of year for the “in between” temps. These pants are actually a jumpsuit and I layered a crop top over it because the strapless silhouette would’ve been a little over-the-top for brunch. Plus the stripes make the outfit a whole lot more interesting, don’t you think? Have you started mixing your spring pieces into your wardrobe yet? P.S. Don’t forget to enter the $100 Kate Spade gift card giveaway if you haven’t already!
