For me, the shirt dress is one of those items that I randomly buy for no particular reason and then absolutely fall in love with it and wear it 24/7. It’s a great piece to transition from season to season, plus the effortless feel of a shirt dress can work on anyone. The one I’m wearing would probably only be suitable to transition from spring to summer, but a shirt dress in a class color and fabric, like this chambray one, is super versatile for your year-round closet.I picked up this dress last fall on super sale at the Boston consignment shop, Second Time Around. I don’t typically buy seasonal items at the end of the season because I love wearing pieces as soon as I buy them, but this dress was just too pretty to pass up on. So you can imagine might excitement when I was finally able wear it out of the house on the first spring day.
